The other advantage is that other webmasters who have websites, blogs or newsletters etc are given the opportunity to download your article keeping your resource box and website link intact. Again potential customers will find the article albeit somewhere else and can click through to your site.

By posting your articles onto the higher ranking article directories, websites, blogs or newsletters, the more traffic those articles will generate to your site. More traffic = more sales! And the very fact that your site is linked from those high ranking sites increases your own sites rankings. So it’s a win-win situation!
